
Halic University was founded in November 1998 by the Leukemia Children's Foundation under the Higher Education Law No. 2547. The university started by offering extensive programs covering medicine, health sciences, engineering, architecture, sports, and arts, and over more than twenty years, it has managed to adopt modern educational technologies and develop its academic facilities to become one of the prestigious private universities in Turkey.
